i went to homecoming.
hey, you never finished your challenges.
and there's a guy at school who looks like you.

Inspiration
On this day, Steve Jobs has died.
I did not know this man personally in any form other than owning a few Apple products. I have talked shit about Apple and their overpriced products, ranging from the iMac to the iPad. I was not always the fondest enthusiast of Apple, in fact, I was a Windows/Microsoft man for most of my life.
However, I respect him deeply for his vision and his huge role with Apple. You can hate him all you want, but he essentially commercialized the computer, and quite possibly advanced computers light years ahead of our time. A comparison of the iMac in 1997 to the current iMac (2011) shows all the work he put into his company. Sure, he didn't single handedly invent them, but I'm definitely sure he oversaw the entire process and rejected vast numbers of proposals.
The most amazing thing that I found was that he stepped down as Apple CEO a few weeks before he died. It was no coincidence. He knew he was going to die in a few weeks time. Jobs possibly wanted to squeeze as much of his life into Apple before his time was up. I highly doubt Jobs resented going to work one bit And that my friends, is the purest form of human passion.
And that's exactly what I need to emulate. To find the passion, to find the desire, and most of all, to find the heart.
“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me"

- Steve Jobs
A toast to a pioneer. It wasn't the money, it wasn't the fame, it was the dream.
Day 02: Something you regret not having done last year.
Many things come to mind, but most importantly enjoying life as much as I could. Bogged down by work and often times not just flying free as I should.
