Who knows?
where the road goes?
In all of its blight
dank stony ash floors
its endless stretched might
that prevailing past locked doors
led toward the night's troubles
towards the day's temporal solace
and night it was, again.

Thanksgiving 2010
Every thanksgiving feel a little older, feel a little colder. It's easy to tell the strain that father time puts on relationships between people. Age can split people apart, and send them different ways. I personally like cold weather, its an indicator of the holidays. And I... love the holidays. Such a cheerful time, you feel warm from the family vibe. But for me, every thanksgiving just feels like another year.
There are distinct feelings you feel as a kid, there are feelings of glee, melancholy, I don't know, pissed off feelings? but there really distinct. You only feel them in a certain time period, and sometimes, just sometimes, I can reproduce those exact feelings I had as a kid, and it feels so weird but nostalgic. But there exclusive to a portion of my life, a time of my life that is defined by that particular feeling.
just my own self-reflection.

Acoustic v Electric
I like the sound of an acoustic guitar. The natural and rich tones of the wooden guitar is just unfathomable and incomparable to anything else out there. It's a beautiful thing really. It's more artful than technical.
However, I won't lie. I do love the shredding and lower action of an electric guitar. I'm only going to buy one guitar for now, but I really don't know what to pick. Electric Guitars require amps, and other unnecessary stuff that I really don't want to get... pedals??. But yeah, I'm going to think over this.
There are some songs out there that are just beautiful on acoustic.

Let me recap the week before it ended.
On Friday, LEMA had its own Thanksgiving party. During Science Bowl, as the starving children we were, joked that we were going over there and eat their food. But guess what, a black guy named Miles goes "Hey if you guys follow me, I can get you some food, since I'm in LEMA." And that's exactly what happened. We went to get food, and took a whole damn tray. Good stuff man.
That black guy was cool. I know its not necessary to state his race, but I'm going to do it anyways.
I'm just trying to enjoy my lovely 1 week break before life starts again. Of course, I just want the semester to be over with already, PLEASE 20 WEEK HIT! Life is the incurable disease of the blessed. Just kidding.
Just Chillin like a Villain. To be continued....

The Week
This week has been an interesting one.
Life can get incredible dull sometimes. I get pretty bored. From tutoring kids during Wednesday Lunches to a nice Veteran's Day off. I know that the semester is winding down, worst possible time to have a slip, it just wouldn't be good. I'm also wondering where in the world Corrina disappeared off to... how weird. Those are just the things circling my mind.
You are a quirky, energetic ball of goodness that brightens my day. Remember that.

Big Day Baby Cakes
SAT Reasoning I test today. Came at around 7:30. Waited to see a bunch of people arriving. Saw Terry Manatee the guy, saw the Apple danish, and yup. Michelle was taking the SAT 2 korean with listening!! Anyways it was a hectic day. I saw Smith girl! She was going to take the SAT too.... I should have said something..but it would be weird.
Into the SAT room, I sat in front of T.M, (ugh) Grueling 3 hours and 45 minutes of pure bullshit. The Critical Reading questions were just pure bullshit. Questions too vague and ambiguous. I'm just web surfing today though. I'll make a formal post tomorrow.
